Hindi Diwas is often celebrated at Hindu Girls College. It has been a tradition to celebrate Hindi Diwas at school and our main objective is to promote Hindi language and encouraging students to learn Hindi up to HSC classes. Officially, Hindi Diwas is celebrated on the 10th of January. However, in Mauritius, each institution celebrates this day at its own convenience.

A series of activities were carried out for this occasion at Hindu Girls College where both our pupils and students from other colleges participated. For example: Poem recitation, storytelling, elocution contest, traditional songs, drama and so on.
