Welcome to the Hindu Girls’ College website! It is my honour to present to you a school that aims to inspire dynamic and holistic leaders. Management and staff at HGC are committed to invest in our students. It is our goal that we continue to produce successful ladies who serve globally.
At HGC we devote ourselves to uphold a school environment, emphasising on values, sports, co-curricular activities, that allows our students to flourish and to grow intellectually, emotionally and socially. This has been the focal point since the very beginning, as early as 4th February 1945, in line with the vision of HGC, that of being a reference among secondary schools for girls.
We look forward to engaging with all stakeholders of the HGC Community and thus, maintain the shared vision of success for our school. Also, to help the College to sustain and preserve its position as one of the best secondary schools in the Republic of Mauritius.
Our website will not only help to improve communication between the school and our stakeholders but will also serve as the centre for updated information pertaining to Hindu Girls’ College. This will further enhance our relationship, which we will extend to the wider community, and also enable collaborators to become more familiar with our school, with its policies and procedures.
