At Hindu Girls’ College, Hindi is simply not a language, but it also forms the core of the culture, values, morals, and ethics imparted by this institution. As an academic subject, Hindi is taught from Grade 7 to 13. Students have performed consistently well in Hindi, with 100% passing rate, at School Certificate Examinations and Higher School Certificate Examinations. In the past, on several instances, our students have been ranked among the ten best students at National levelin the above mentioned examinations. The Hindi department organises extra curricular activities and motivates its students to participate in them. Every year, events like ‘Hindi Diwas’, quiz competitions, story telling competitions and essay writing competitions are staged to fuel the interest of students in the Hindi subject.
